These digital elevation model data files have been created from a merged 
GTOPO30 and ETOPO2 (depth of sea).

zip and tar.bz2  archives contain the same data.

the *.dem is the binary dem data-file
the *.CONF contains the entries to be made in the openGLIGCexplorer configfile
    (the full absolute path to the demfile has to be added manually)


If your country is missing send me an email with the latitude and longitude ranges, that 
will cover your country!
